Chamber Announces Executive Director Leadership Change

Marco Island, FL, January 4, 2017 - After 21 years at the Marco Island Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director Sandi Riedemann-Lazarus has announced her retirement effective January 1, 2017. 2016 and 2017 Chamber President Alex Parker, III stated:

"Sandi has been a great asset to the Chamber, and we wish her
all the best in her transition to retirement. We sincerely appreciate
her years of dedicated service."

The Board of Directors has been working to find the right candidate to take over
this important leadership position and is pleased to announce that we have selected community leader and recent Citizen of the Year award recipient, Dianna G. Dohm as the new Executive Director.

Dohm brings with her a wealth of community, business and financial experience which will be invaluable as we move the Chamber forward into 2017 and beyond. She was previously Community Relations Manager and Business Development Officer at Mutual of Omaha Bank - Marco Island. Her community contributions are many including President, Marco Island Fire Rescue Foundation, President Marco Island Civic Association, Past President Kiwanis Club of Marco Island, appointment to the Marco Island Area Chamber Board of Directors, Graduate Leadership Marco, NCH Trustee - Marco Island Campus, former member City of Marco Island Beautification Advisory Committee, Chairman Avow Hospice Community Advisory Board, 2013 Marco Island Volunteer of the Year and 2016 Marco Island Citizen of the Year.

Her formal education includes a B.A. from Barat College with a double major in Business and Psychology, as well as an MBA from Barat College Graduate School of Management, Lake Forest, IL. Dohm has been a resident of Marco Island for 18 years and will officially take over on January 16, 2017.
