DESCRIPTION:Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center\, 300 Tower Rd.\, Naples\, 34113.  RookeryBay.org.  $20\, includes buffet lunch from Carrabba’s.  Registration is required www.rookerybay.org/calendar \nPlease join us for the second in a series of seven lectures – Research in the Reserve – Rookery Bay’s Least Wanted: Invasives of the Reserve. Jared Franklin\, Rookery Bay Biologist\, will present on the non-native species in the Reserve (both plant and wildlife) as well as their impact on the native habitat of Southwest Florida. Lunch will be provided. \nThe 2022-23 lecture series\, “Research in the Reserve\,” focuses on key conservation projects occurring within Rookery Bay’s 110\,000 acres of land and water. Rookery Bay scientists and biologists will present their current findings and ongoing research to protect the wildlife\, plants and water of Southwest Florida.
