SUMMARY:Marco Congregation's Purim Fete
DESCRIPTION:Jewish Congregation of Marco Island will be celebrating Purim\, the jubilant Feast of Queen Esther\, in the course of Sabbath worship. \nPurim is traditionally a rollicking carnival-style event.  That evening’s reading of the Biblical Book of Esther will be highlighted by Cantorial Soloist Hari Jacobsen’s surprising parodies of pop-music; prizes will be awarded for the best costume and most outrageous noisemaker; and seasonal treats will be served at the ‘Oneg-Shabbat reception following services. \nGuests from the community are always welcome to join the Congregation in Friday night worship at 991 Winterberry Drive\, across from the Art Center. \nFor more information call 954-798-6037 or test RabbiMarkGross@gmail.com.
